Ok, so last year and the this year I read some truly amazing books. Palacio, “Unwind” by Neal Shusterman, and “Daughter of Smoke and Bone” by Laini Taylor was excellent!

Thank you for hosting the giveaway!

I just finished Natalie Whipple’s Transparent, and I can’t stop thinking about it. She created a very unique world that really makes you think how you’d deal with super natural powers.

Also, you should definitely read Daniel o’Malley’s The Rook. It’s one of my all-time favourite books.

    hi elizabeth!

i’m totally with alexis and amanda (previous comments) about marissa meyer’s “scarlet” and r.j. palacio’s “wonder”. (=

right now, though, i’ve found myself in a sort of melancholy coming-of-age mood– after finishing “the age of miracles” by karen thompson walker, i stumbled upon (aka goodreads recommended) “tell the wolves i’m home” by carol rifka brunt, which i’m currently still working my way through.

and if you’re in the mood for inspiring snippets of life from the non-fiction section, try “cold tangerines” by shauna niequist. each segment is like a cool drink of water on a hot day– deliciously amazing!

I LOVED The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Very much obsessed with that story. I also just enjoyed reading The Hunger Games series (I read all three in a span of 3 months in between school and work). The only “adult” book I have read recently was The Joy Luck Club and that was fantastic. <3

One of the ones I LOVED and absolutely did not expect to was The Madman’s Daughter by Megan Shepherd. It was fantastically creepy, and can’t recommend it enough. One that I read via NetGalley and comes out soon is Eleanor & Park by Rainbow Rowell, and it was absolutely AMAZING. I fell in love with it and Rainbow’s writing so hard – which, leads me to my last recommendation: Attachments by Rainbow Rowell. I picked it up since I loved E&P so much, and it did not disappoint. Her books are filled with so much heart and emotion and meaning.

Thank you for doing another giveaway!

Right now I’m reading “Where’d You Go, Bernadette” by Marie Semple. It is funny, quirky, and has a bit of a mystery element. I loved “Just One Day” by Gayle Forman. I’m currently listening to “The Fault In Our Stars” by John Green. I read it 3 times last year and picked up the audio after it won the Odyssey.

I have read a lot of good books lately, but I want to especially recommend Out of the Easy by Ruta Sepetys – amazing historical fiction set in New Orleans.

I also just read Fuse by Julianna Baggott, the sequel to Pure. Both books are unlike any other dystopian I have read and they are truly wonderful!

I recently finished “Dracula.” Yes, THE Bram Stoker version. Some times you just have to get back to the classics. “Beyond Shades of Grey” (NOT 50 Shades) is an emotional whammy. Now reading “Game of Thrones.” Thanks for having a give away! I can’t wait to get my hands on this one!

Hey Elizabeth! So excited about your newest release – thanks for an opportunity to win a copy.

    Books I’m excited about?

I just finished two that I am completely mad for: ‘Bruised’ by Sarah Skilton and ‘The Madness Underneath’ by Maureen Johnson. Make sure to have a few tissues with you as you read ‘Bruised’.

And if you’re looking for something a little wacky, wild, and all things Alice in Wonderland, ‘Splintered’ by A.G. Howard was terrible fun to read.

If you’re not into zombie gore, ‘Alice in Zombieland’. I was surprised by how much I enjoyed this book, especially after realizing that it wasn’t ‘Alice in Wonderland’ meets zombies.

Happy Reading – and good luck to all!

Some other books I’ve been getting into are “Austenland” by Shannon Hale and Josi Kilpack’s latest book “Baked Alaska”. Love her books as I’m an avid foodie as well. Haha. I’m going to be starting “Midnight in Austenland” by Shannon Hale. Can’t wait to read it. Your new book I can’t wait to add to the list.
